Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 2026
Our Commitment
Boom Interactive Inc is committed to making CoreSpec 3D accessible to everyone, regardless of ability or technology. We believe that 3D building intelligence should be usable by all professionals who rely on it, and we are working to meet recognised accessibility standards across our website and platform.
This statement applies to cs3d.ai and the CoreSpec 3D web application at app.cs3d.ai.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines helps make the web more usable for all users.
CoreSpec 3D is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to improve conformance across all areas of the platform.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, the following known accessibility limitations currently exist. We are working to address them:
- 3D viewport navigation — The 3D building model viewer relies on mouse and touch gestures that may be difficult for keyboard-only or assistive technology users. We are developing keyboard navigation shortcuts for all core 3D interactions.
- Complex data tables — Some data tables in the reporting interface do not yet have full ARIA markup for screen reader navigation. We are adding appropriate roles and descriptions.
- PDF exports — Documents exported from the platform may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We are working on tagged PDF output.
- Video content — Tutorial videos on the support page do not currently include captions. We are adding closed captions to all tutorial content.
- Colour contrast — A small number of UI elements may not meet the 4.5:1 contrast ratio requirement for normal text. We are identifying and updating these.
Technical Specifications
Accessibility of CoreSpec 3D relies on the following technologies:
- HTML5
- CSS3
- JavaScript (ES6+)
- WAI-ARIA 1.1
- WebGL (for 3D rendering)
These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.
Supported Assistive Technologies
CoreSpec 3D has been tested with the following assistive technologies:
- Screen readers: NVDA with Firefox, VoiceOver with Safari (macOS and iOS), TalkBack with Chrome (Android)
- Keyboard navigation: Full keyboard operability for all core website pages
- Zoom: Up to 200% zoom without loss of content or functionality on all website pages
- High contrast mode: Windows High Contrast Mode (Edge and Chrome)
Assessment Approach
Boom Interactive assesses the accessibility of CoreSpec 3D through the following approaches:
- Self-evaluation using automated tools including axe DevTools and Lighthouse;
- Manual keyboard navigation testing;
- Screen reader testing on major platforms;
- Review against WCAG 2.1 success criteria.
We intend to conduct an independent third-party accessibility audit in 2026 and will update this statement with the findings.
UK & EU Legal Requirements
United Kingdom: The Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018 apply to public sector organisations. CoreSpec 3D is a commercial product; however, we voluntarily align with these requirements and the associated GDS accessibility guidance.
European Union: The European Accessibility Act (EAA), Directive (EU) 2019/882, requires that certain digital products and services meet accessibility requirements from June 2025. We are working to ensure CoreSpec 3D meets these requirements ahead of the deadline.
